HOW TO PLAY 1. Before the activity, print and cut out a set of these spanish comparison cards for students to work in groups of 3-4. I recommend printing these on colored paper and laminating them if possible.
Suggested topics: Super heroes, male / female celebrities, teachers, hobbies / sports, TV shows, books, animals, foods. By letting the students create the cards, you will increase engagement and rest assured that the words on the cards are up-to-date references that they will enjoy! To save time and resources, you can just have your first class of the day create cards and then save them in baggies to use throughout the day. 4. Have groups trade their cards and pass out the colored cards to each group. 5. Each player starts with 5 white note cards. The dealer chooses one colored card. Each player must choose 2 of their cards and write down a sentence using the comparison on the colored card. The dealer will decide which sentence is his/her favorite, and that person wins a point. Students select new cards and the dealer rotates each round!
